- was first introduced to yoga 20 years ago when even at a very young age she immediately fell in love with it. she went on to study various styles of yoga and received her 200-hour yoga alliance certification from joschi yoga institute. janid defines yoga as ”the art of breathing”. her strong focus on breath work and channeling energy provides a practice that fully integrates body, mind and soul. janid’s classes combine vinyasa flow with kundalini yoga elements. her teaching style is positive, inspiring and motivating. janid’s goal as a yoga teacher is to facilitate an energizing, cleansing, calming and healing practice that will help students achieve equanimity of mind on and off the mat.
janid is also an award-winning recording artist and creative writer. her musical contributions have received international and prestigious recognitions including a grammy nomination.
